About the job

This role will require both high-level strategy and process design and hands-on operational content creation and community management and outreach work to execute against business objectives. You're perfect for this role if you are versatile, you’re able to plan and draft content for different stakeholders, as well as apply consistent standards and elevate the overall quality of our work; understand content planning and user experience.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to share the stories that happen every day within Scaleway’s global community (all communities). You will work closely with product marketing teams to amplify global product launches, focus on our innovations and technologies that make sense for all our audiences.

You will also be responsible for managing our social media and ensuring operational excellence in supporting the long-term communications strategies by crafting, implementing and executing against day-to-day communications outreach through social media, content and events.

Profil recherché

  • 2 previous roles in social media management (ideally B2B)
  • Native in German & English (for writing posts)
  • Superior writing, editing and storytelling skills required with ability to tailor writing style to digital and social platforms
  • A strong aptitude for and working knowledge of social platforms, digital tools, technologies, and content management systems
  • Creative skills for brand content creation (video, or motion design is a plus)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in teams

  • Maintain a content editorial and grow our community
  • Develop an integrated social content outreach plan that support the corporate goals and focus areas throughout all social communication channels with a consistent and persuasive brand messaging
  • Lead our social media and help drive strategy across social media publishing, corporate campaigns, social listening and insights, and online community building
  • Working with several departments and teams across Scaleway to curate, write, edit and publish content on the corporate social media channels, assessing as appropriate for each platform
  • Contribute to a content calendar and strategy that ensures social channels are frequently updated with engaging, relevant content that clearly describes current milestones while at the same time supporting our story
  • Develop and maintain a global editorial and social media calendar
  • Develop digital activations to promote partnerships and grow online audience
  • Measure social media efforts across both outbound and inbound initiatives
  • Develop and inspire Scalers to push boundaries and explore thought leadership and ambassadorship through social content writing and experiences
  • Project Manage a cross-organization, cross-functional group of stakeholders and ensure the content we ship is cohesive and thoughtfully crafted and executed
  • Increase social media and digital footprint with an international outreach
  • Consult with internal leaders to integrate global communications and thought leadership efforts, and provide editing support across the organization to ensure consistency
  • Create and maintain a way to gather feedback about initiatives and measure content effectiveness
  • Work with the team to develop guidance documents including best practices on corporate social media, personal use of social media, and branding guidelines and work to effectively disseminate globally

  • The reputation of the company is essential to the success of our business, as part of the Corporate Communications team, it will be your responsibility to not only protect that reputation but enhance it as well.
  • You will design, execute, and manage a social media plan and animation that improves awareness and drives understanding and engagement related to our corporate, innovations and overall communication needs.
  • You should be exceptionally organized and detail oriented, capable of managing cross-functional projects and work streams end to end, with an aptitude for prioritization.
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills are essential—specifically the ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to diverse audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  • You enjoy a fast-paced environment and are able to ask the right questions in order to get a quick understanding of programs, products or initiatives to craft rich narratives.
  • You see beyond the challenges and think creatively about solutions.
  • You stay focused and flexible in a complex and ambiguous environment, and are not easily deterred by change.

  • This position can be either: 
    - Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France), partial/full remote is possible 
    - Remote in Germany
